Introducing... Skullairy Ink & Design.

     It is finally time, no more extensive courses, just pure grind, and work. It is what this journey and this blog that logged it has been leading up to. The plan of attack in action.


Brand Identity and Niche

    Remembering color theory courses and the meaning behind them I decided the Monarch orange harmony, with black and white as its contrasts would fit my idea of toon-like creative graphics that show off aggression and beauty. My portraits drawing has led me to love skulls and skull art is moderate traffic of interest in others according to my market research. To give a unique approach to this I remembered how attracted I was to the butterfly wings exploring watercolors. Just like that my true enjoyment of art came out and with a manageable niche I found uniqueness in my future designs. The skullairy! LIke a bat-winged avenged sevenfold cover these monarch wing skulls the size of faeries would be little terrors of beauty. All to feed the crimson grass that blankets their territory deep within the gray mist forests. Every position, angle, and structure unique in its own right will add to the overall collective (The community and Audience) we will call the Swarm.


    The Goods & Sweets
The shop site (www.skullairyinkdesign.com) will be up and running with the first collection featuring the first skull of the swarm and the swarm's featured brand logo to its identity. It’s a simple collection there just to sport loyalty to the early brand in development. Lots more to come with full designs and Typography. The store will slowly fill with All over print designs as they offer more creative freedom and a huge increase in future conversion rates. The Banner will evolve as I get more feedback and illustrations added. The store is primarily going to be focused on

Print, Apparel, Digital Assets, and Courses. Prints will be available in Stickers, Canvases temp tattoos. Apparel will be streetwear & Gym. Digital assets will lead into fots, patterns, .svg files, NFTS, and courses will be videos of me covering the topics I have discussed in the blog but more in-depth and in a proper instructional format.  My services will include Design, Illustration, and Mentorship.


    Marketing & Awareness

    Last two weeks I have looked up offline marketing courses. Shout out to Brad Batesole for his LinkedIn learning contribution. IT helped me come up with some ideas for the traditional marketing strategies. Sponsoring teams like inline skaters or holding tournaments ourselves using event marketing strategies is something I will continue to have an open mind on and pursue when the opportunity shows. His course made me realize I have options like Meetups, trade shows, and even giving speeches on topics I have covered in this blog to other industries. True on-the-ground sales mean even cold calls and door-to-door sales, but personally would rather leave a door hanger or send out direct mailing using promo codes and conversion tracking for proper A/B testing in neighborhoods. I also have great ideas to have my business card with a discounted promo code.


    I will be using Google ads with Search & Display once I have three collections uploaded. The first campaign strategy and goals will be heavily on awareness and my first testing target audience will be demographic and location-based until 30days of conversion tracking. The main social media channels I will focus on for my initial traffic are Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest. Secondary channels would be LinkedIn and Facebook. linktr.ee is going to be a mass connection from my social media channels to my blog and shop, which will in themselves be interconnected through backlinks. Other channels may arise but only to cast a larger net, and not to add additional workloads.


    The new schedule


    Crazy how just a few weeks ago I was wracking my brain with stress thinking things in my journey are not going fast enough and now I'm here thinking about how quickly everything is coming together and changing. Having a digital presence after so long is going to be weird but a necessary leap of faith to change my life for the better. The blog will now have a weekly posting on Sundays. Alternating relevant topics that have already been covered so far but in more depth and hopefully more progress, with the 1st of the month always consistent with the Artistic journal-like entries. LinkedIn will have an end-of-the-month post related more to the analytics and overall business growth. Instagram will be Mondays & Thursdays. Twitter will be Thursdays & Saturdays. Facebook will be on Saturdays. Pinterest will be on Fridays


    Community

    We are the swarm and over time as we find influencers and events to sponsor we will grow in Number, and turn strength. In hopes of eventually giving back to the community as a whole. First the growth of content and awareness of these networks, then the investments, and finally the give-back in donations and charities. Together through loyalty, integrity, and knowledge, we can make our inner passions a reality!
